Complimentary Event Ferry Fare Terms and Conditions

  • Event Date and Location: The complimentary ferry fares are provided for attendees of the Wadjemup Wirin Bidi event on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island on 9 November 2024.
  • Validity: The fares are valid for same-day return travel only and are subject to the terms of carriage of the designated ferry travel provider.
  • Non-Transferable: The complimentary ferry fares are non-transferable and must be used by the registered event attendee.
  • Booking: Ferry fares must be booked directly with the participating ferry travel provider by following the instructions provided following event registration.
  • Scope of Complimentary Fares: The complimentary ferry fares cover ferry transfer only. Additional fees may apply for services such as bike hire, transaction fees, and luggage fees.
  • Eligibility: The complimentary ferry fares are only valid for registered attendees of the Wadjemup Wirin Bidi event.
  • Non-Exchangeable: The complimentary ferry fares cannot be resold or exchanged for cash.
  • Departure Point: The preferred departure point indicated at registration is not guaranteed. Attendees will be informed of their confirmed departure point in advance.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of an attendee’s event registration will result in the forfeiture of the complimentary ferry fare. If the event is cancelled by the event holder, the complimentary ferry fare will also be cancelled.  In such cases, attendees will not be entitled to any compensation for the ferry fare.
  • Fair Use Policy: A Fair Use Policy applies to the use of the complimentary ferry fares to prevent misuse. This policy ensures that the ferry fares are used fairly and responsibly by all attendees. If misuse of the complimentary ferry fares is suspected, such as booking multiple fares under different names or using the fares for purposes other than attending the event, the ferry booking will be cancelled without compensation.
  • Boarding Requirements: Attendees must present their event registration alongside their ferry ticket at boarding.
  • Missed Ferry: Attendees who miss their scheduled ferry are responsible for arranging and paying for alternative transportation. The event holder is not responsible for providing or reimbursing alternative travel arrangements.
  • Additional Terms and Conditions: Further terms and conditions from the ferry travel provider apply. Attendees should review these terms to understand their rights and obligations at the time of booking their travel.

Event Terms and Conditions

  • Event Cancellation: The event holder reserves the right to cancel the event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • No Liability for Costs: The event holder is not responsible for reimbursing any costs associated with attending the event, such as travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses, except as specified in these terms and conditions.
  • Force Majeure: If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the event holder (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), the event holder will not be liable for any resulting costs or damages.
  • Changes to the Event: The event holder reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, or venue.
  • Personal Responsibility: Attendees are responsible for their own safety and personal belongings during the event. The event holder is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the event. Attendees are encouraged to take necessary precautions and follow safety guidelines.
  • No Refunds: As this is a free event, no refunds will be issued for any reason.
  • Communication: The event holder will contact attendees via email and SMS to provide information relating to the event. Attendees’ contact information will be used in accordance with privacy regulations and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
